Museum Educational Foundation ( MEF), a California nonprofit corporation, develops and distributes Museum Mania™ Treasure Hunt books. MEF works with museums to develop and distribute customized curriculum-based treasure hunt books for children. MEF's efforts include assisting museums in finding corporate sponsorship. When such sponsorship is available, it includes free distribution of the books as a value-added admission supplement and/or free provision of "Corporate Angels" for use in educational related programs. We have kept the cost of the book extremely low and rely upon volume to make a profit. MEF's goals include donating most future profits to schools, with designated funds used for providing transportation on Museum Mania™ field trips.
