To help children enjoy both the simple and complex beauty of art.  To help them appreciate, become more knowledgeable and aware of our diverse culture, history, and the treasures of our present civilization and civilizations past.

This educational game was developed by a desperate parent, Candace Jackson. The reason why Candace was desperate was because she had no one in her family who loved going to museums as she did and still does. She enlisted the help of her two talented friends, an art major/teacher Brent Block, and Cindy Harris, a fourth grade teacher.

Candace, was a trade newsletter editor, writer, designer, mother of three and "kid at heart". She was on the School Site council that helped to develop the curriculum for her daughter's "National Blue Ribbon" school. She has been a member and office of National Charity League, with her daughters for past ten years.  Candace is currently an art and sculpture student at Moorpark College.

Brent Block, is a former "Rock and Roll" recorder from the early 70's, "Pacific Gas & Electric" band. Brent has successfully taught, written, and published teaching music and inspired children with his gift of instruction for over 20 years. Brent is presently teaching private guitar in Sherman Oaks and is presently a secondary music teacher. Originally an art major, Brent brought his delightful sense of art and humor into Museum Mania™.

Cindy Harris, performer/musician, mother of four, and a former teacher who developed specialized curriculum for her school. Cindy is responsible for aligning the Museum Mania™ Treasure Hunt's goals with the California & other state framework applicable guidelines.

I am in the process, and it is my goal, to write Museum Mania™ Treasure Hunts for museums and libraries throughout the world. I sincerely hope that this "Treasure Hunt" will inspire your children to want to tour and enjoy other libraries and museums.
